Paul Cézanne ,1839-1906, the famous French painter, the main figure of the post-Impressionist. From the late 19th century , Cezanne was refered as the father of the "new art". As a pioneer of modern art, he was called "the father of modern art" or " father of modern painting. " His pursuit of the objects volume turned on the idea for "cubism".
Paul Cezanne was born on January 19, 1839 in Aix-en-Provence, is located in the south of Aix-en-Provence, France. His father, Louis-Auguste Cezanne (1798 July 28 - October 23, 1886) was the founder of a booming bank. Paul Cezanne lives a wealthy life, unlike most of his contemporaries painter, he eventually obtain a large heritage. Paul was sent to, St. Joseph's School, where he studied painting under the tutelage of the Spanish monks Joseph Gilbert. In 1852, Paul Cezanne entered the Bourbon University, where he met Zola as well as Baptistin Baille and maintain good friendships. He lived here for six years, although in the last two years, he is a day school students. From 1858 to 1861, Paul Cezanne complied with his father's wishes, studying at Aix-en-Provence University law School, also received training in painting.  Paul Cezanne met Pissarro-- the impressionist painter--in paris.
